Nestling in a quiet hamlet on the borders of Wiltshire and Dorset is a thatched farmhouse with arguably one of the most spectacular views in the area. It was one of the prime reasons which attracted James and Tara Loyd to buy the property when they were first married and the reason why twenty years later, with their two children, William now twenty and Eliza eighteen, they have resisted the temptation to down size and move on. ‘When the farmhouse began to look tired and out dated, Tara and I took the view that it was worth a second round of repairs and we would prefer to renovate, than move. Frankly where else would we find as lovely a view'’. ‘ Tara smiles and nods in agreement, adding “Frankly we would be crazy to leave such a magical spot.’
